Top 10 Bathrooms

As promised!

10.  The old RHD hospital – off of I-635

This one has a great deodorizer in the single stall bathroom.  Rest assured, you can feel confident walking out and no one will know what went on in there.

9.  McDonald’s – Any location (generally)

McDonald’s is always good for a clean, quick stop.  You can go in the side door and straight to the john.  That way, you don’t feel guilty not buying anything.  I do recommend using the seat covers, though.

8.  Ziziki’s Restaurant Bathroom – Preston & Forest

Nice and clean, but the stalls were small.  Particularly like the décor and the hand lotion availabilities.  Plus, you can grab a handful of those yummy chocolate mint candies and forgo dessert.

7.  7777 Forest Lane, Building C, 4th floor

Located just around the corner from the main elevators, this bathroom furnishes you with a 1960’s teal colored vinyl couch.  So if you need to get off your feet and veg for a while, this bathroom is a must!

6.   Lousiana Visitor’s Center Bathroom

Regardless of how many people are in there, it is clean and fresh.  I also like the plantation home building that it’s in.  Brings me back to my southern roots.

5.  Texas Health Resources Medical Office Buildings – Denton

These are nice because they are new, they are clean and no one is ever in there!  You can do your business in peace.

4.  Memorial Hospital – Lufkin, TX – ICU waiting room

Although it sits right off the waiting room, and there is only one toilet, it’s always clean and good for a quick #1.  I do not, however, suggest this one if you have to go #2.  You may be embarrassed to walk out if you drop a big bomb.

3.  7777 Forest Lane, Building C, 5th floor

Although these buildings are showing their age, this is a nice surprise.  Go check out the NW corner on the 5th floor of Building C.  This bathroom offers a choice of 8-10 toilets, and the area around the sink and mirrors has great lighting to do a quick make-up/booger check.

2.  2nd floor 8210 Walnut Hill

There is an awesome little bathroom that few people realize is even there.  It’s tucked away in the hallway that attaches Building 1 to the hospital.  You won’t feel rushed in there.  Take your time!

1. Woodhill Clinic on Walnut Hill Lane

These are by far the #1 bathrooms of all time!  First of all – the bathrooms are individual.  There’s no one next to you, it’s like a little apartment you walk into.  Each one is roomy and uniquely designed for privacy and hiding if need be.  The best part is being surprised when you open the door, of how cute THIS one is.  They are all different and so cozy!  Love it!

About Jill

A little about me… My name is Jill and I am a pharmaceutical rep for a fortune 500 company (a.k.a. Big Pharma). I've been in a pharma rep for 16 years, and have seen many territories come and go. Overall, I like my job, but I'm frustrated with the increase in demand, increased workload and no increase in salary. Let’s not mention the decrease in bonus dollars! I'm aging (40-something) and see nothing but new short-skirted bimbos being hired in at half the pay with a fraction of the work ethic that I'm accustomed to. These are supposed to be my new partners? After working with some of the top reps in the industry and earning numerous awards this is what I am left to deal with? I'm the lone survivor of many “restructurings” (better known as layoffs), mergers, and acquisitions. I frantically spend each and every day trying to balance work life and home life….after all – Tramontex* keeps preaching that they have work-life balance…and work is winning. Why is that? This blog is my life. I am Jill. I am writing this because it is therapeutic and I need help! But God knows, I don’t have time to seek professional help, or the money because my bonus sucks. So you get to listen to me vent! Lucky You! For all of you who thought being a drug rep was a glamorous job….. I hate to break it to you…..it’s not…..
